8 Signs You’ve Discovered Your Life’s True Purpose
You will always do your best Law of Attraction work when you are living in concert with your life’s purpose. This is when you’re most aligned with what you’re trying to manifest, and when your vibration resonates most clearly in the Universe.
But how do you know that you’ve discovered your life's true purpose? Should you devote the bulk of your energy to pursuing it? Look out for these eight common signs.
1. There’s An Urge To Venture Into The Unknown
Sometimes, you’ll feel a powerful pull to change your life in a major way, even if you normally prefer to stay inside your comfort zone.
This is sometimes described as a “call to adventure”, and it’s a powerful, inspiring feeling.
However, there may also be a temptation to dismiss it as irrational. This is partly due to society’s message that we should follow clearly delineated five-year plans instead of going with gut instincts.
If the call to adventure strikes you, sit up and take notice, especially if it’s almost physically painful to resist that urge. Your life’s purpose may just have been revealed to you for the first time.
The Universe knows what you need. It will send you the types of mentors, teachers and other inspirational figures who can help to shape you in ways that promote your life’s purpose.
So, if you have a particular passion and all of a sudden begin seeing classes about that topic and somehow keep encountering others who have experience in the area, consider spending more time in this area of your life.
You’re getting a clear signal that your growth is intimately connected with this particular thing.
3. It Feels Natural
If you read Law of Attraction success stories, one theme you’ll see emerging, again and again, is that of a sense of harmony.
In other words, when you act and think in ways related to your deepest life’s purpose, it should feel natural and easy.
That’s not to say you’ll never encounter challenges or learning curves. But regardless of these moments, there will be a general undercurrent of rightness.
Your life purpose is something that just fits you, like the perfect shoe.
This is often especially striking the first time you encounter something to do with your purpose (e.g. when you try a new skill), as you may be shocked at how quickly you adapt to this specific thing.
4. Time Passes Quickly
It’s also worth noting that pure pleasure that typically accompanies living in tune with your purpose.
You may notice this most clearly when it comes to the passing of time. Hours or days can fly by at breakneck speed when you’re doing something to do with your life’s purpose, as you will likely be consumed by passion and will feel stimulated both emotionally and intellectually.
No matter what makes you feel this way (and how unlikely you think it might be that this thing is your true purpose), give it some serious thought.
5. Your Well-Being Improves
If you begin living in concert with your life’s purpose, everything in you will start to thrive in response.
This means it’s likely to experience higher energy levels, fewer low moods, and feeling more comfortable in your own body.
You may notice that you sleep better, wake up excited, and seem to be enjoying increased immune system function as well.
6. Luck Is On Your Side
Just as you are more likely to encounter the right types of mentors and teachers when you’re coming to discover your true purpose, so too are you likely to have more luck in general.
People often mention a sense of synchronicity, like everything in life has just “clicked” and seems to be working.
You are vibrating at a consistently high frequency due to the new influx of joy in your life, and this is attracting more and more positivity to you.
7. Life Makes More Sense
Your life’s purpose may well be something you haven’t directly engaged with until now, but if you review your life (looking all the way back to childhood) it’s probable that you’ll realize you were always being primed for this moment.
The roadblocks that held you back, the times you thought you were failing and the moments where you were pushed to develop in some way have all led you to discover your true calling at this moment.
There’s a deep feeling of satisfaction associated with the sudden revelation that your entire journey makes a new kind of sense.
8. Calmness Replaces Anxiety
Finally, pursuing your purpose can sound quite scary, as it often involves taking risks and embracing a lot of new experiences.
However, where you might normally be anxious or even afraid, you are more likely to feel calm or even blissful. This is because part of you knows that you’re fulfilling your greatest potential, and has faith that you will succeed.
