How to Use the Law of Attraction in Your Quest for Better Health
The tools of the Law of Attraction can be used to change lives in a wide variety of ways, but there are a few common themes. Along with love, career success, and financial abundance, better health is one of the major things that people strive for.
Whether you’re yearning to lose weight, aiming to boost your physical fitness or hoping to overcome an injury or chronic condition, there are certain key techniques that can help. Here’s how to use the Law of Attraction in your quest for better health.
Set a Specific Intention
One of the common mistakes people make when using the Law of Attraction is setting a goal that’s too general. It is only when setting a very specific intention that you can really dedicate your full focus to what you want to achieve, and visualize it clearly in your mind’s eye.
For example, instead of vowing to get slim, decide that you will lose a number of pounds by a particular date. Meanwhile, if you’re looking to become much stronger and faster, you can set an intention. Your intention could be: “By this summer, I’ll be able to run X amount of miles in X amount of time.”
Play around with the wording until it resonates with you, then write it down and look at it often.

Often, your environment contains some of the biggest obstacles to vibrating at the right frequency and to achieving your goals, but it’s easy to overlook this factor. Examine your home, your office and everywhere you spend large portions of time.
What things give you negative feelings, suggesting you can’t change your life in the way you desire? What things tempt you to abandon the hard work associated with improving your health? Get rid of these objects and replace them with things that radiate positivity.
For example, empty your kitchen cupboards of all those unhealthy snacks and shop at a local farmers’ market so your home is bursting with organic produce. Items that remind you of negative past relationships can also drag you down. Consider whether it might be worth overcoming sentimental urges and having a big cleanout.
Design Perfect Affirmations
Affirmations are a vital tool no matter what you’re trying to manifest with the Law of Attraction, as they help you to stay connected to your goals and train your mind to think in a positive way.
As you did when setting your initial intention, you should feel free to play around with the wording of affirmations until a particular way of expressing your desires just seems right. However, some common starting points for health-based affirmations might include “I know I can achieve a healthy weight and feel better than ever” and “I am growing stronger, healthier and happier every day.”
Live “As If”
The idea of living “as if” is a particularly valuable one when it comes to using the Law of Attraction to pursue health goals. In fact, many weight loss and health improvement programs suggest this type of tactic, even though they’re not aware that it involves tapping into the Law of Attraction!
If you’re going to be losing weight, buy new clothes that will fit the figure you develop. If you’re going to be running a marathon or taking part in some other sporting competition, get the equipment you’ll need and display it where you’ll see it every day. And if you’re looking to return to a more active lifestyle after a period of ill health, consider booking small trips and actively planning for the attainment of your goals.
Connect With Positive People
Finally, accountability and camaraderie are two other important concepts when working towards manifesting better health. Whether it involves encouraging friends or joining new groups to meet like-minded individuals, just make sure you have good energy around you—energy that spurs you and keeps you feeling enthusiastic.
It will come in handy when you’re feeling tired or when limiting beliefs creep in.
