WHAT'S MY STORY ?

 

Here I am in the fall of 1998, working on a 10' x 10' mural on the side of my 
garage at a house I used to own in the Pacific North West. My cat Cheetah
really wanted to help me paint it, and mostly charmed her way
 into helping me. Although she didn't get paint on her paws, I did.
The white thing on the ladder is a plastic bag I used to sit on the wet grass
to paint the lower portions. It does rain a lot in the North West.


Here it is, about half way done.


Here's the final painting. It was a tough first project mostly because
 of the slatted side of the garage. Quite a challenge, but I enjoyed 
the process getting there. I am an Oregon Coast Native American, 
and have Alaskan Native American influences in my art work. 
This particular painting is a blend of two different designs by other Alaskan artists.


Here's my cat 'Simba' doing her rendition of 'Nekochan'
which is about a Japanese cat who saved its village.
She's smart as a whip, talks a lot & knows 5 tricks.



I volunteer at a no kill cat shelter.
This is 'Mighty Joe Young'. A gigantic, loving, lumbering kind of cat. 
He always likes to crawl up into my lap when I come by.
